Mahuika Mahuika, the keeper of fire possesses many traits such as kaitīaki/guardianship, responsible, insightful, long fuse/patient, protector, fierce, social good. These same traits can guide us online. #belikemahuika

    Māui

Māui possesses qualities like playfulness, innovative, adaptable, growth mindset, risk-taker, curiosity, problem solver, crafty, goal-oriented, active pursuit, bug fixer and collaborator. #belikemāui

I am probably a combination of both, I start out like Mahuika, a little more reserved and watchful but once I experience some success I become more like Maui.

I'm more like Maui, always taking risks, backing myself and 100% ok with not knowing everything about the DT curriculum but willing learn

I am both for sure, depending on the context!  I like to see what the end looks like but will be methodical in the way that I learn about it.

I would say I'm more like Mahuika but hope to be more like Maui in some ways!

I think I am a bit like both depending on where my own understanding is at.  I like to have a cursory explore/read over then delve into more depth later.

I think I'm naturally more like Mahuika in that I'm patient, thoughtful, etc, but I'm challenging myself to be more of a risk-taker like Maui: just jump in and give the scary stuff a go!

I'm mostly a Māui style learner. I love to have something to work on, instructions beside me and then give it a go.
