I think Im generally more like Māui in the way I work and learn however the traits of Mahuika are definitely woven through as well .

I think I'm like Mahuika. I like to know the big picture and be really prepared before I try new things.

I think I'm generally like Maui. I jump in with both feet and sort out the mess as I go! I'm always the one that says 'pick me, pick me' when new opportunities are suggested and I think I have the curiosity and creativity to work things out and think on my feet.  Can get me into trouble though....!

I'm like Māui, get my fingers burnt countless times.  All part of 'risk-taking' although I am also fiercely protective so perhaps a mix.  Definitely need to learn some of Mahuika's patience though!

For the most part I would say I am like Mahuika - I like to have an idea of what I'm doing in advance. This said I am also flexible and willing to take a risk and try new things - and let students be the experts.

Definitely more of a Maui. I enjoy taking risks, experimenting, finding out, problem solving, trying out new ideas. Live by "what would happen if..."

With a sprinkling of Mahuika - supporting my learners in the digital world.

Definitely, more of a Maui when I'm feeling confident about a topic - trying to be more like Maui when a topic is new and just dive in but having a growth mindset as an adult can be hard too haha! Like others, I have bits of Mahuika woven into my personality.

When I was at primary school I got a certificate for 'very responsible behaviour' -  a defining moment in my life!

I'm  like Mahuika - responsible, caring, patient and social good  are all adjectives which describe me.

Though some of those Maui adjectives are pretty accurate too.....

Mahuika for the most part but when coding and programming have to switch to Maui to take the risks, fix bugs and problem solve.

I'm a bit of both. I love new learning and exploring ideas but I like to be confident and have a sound understanding before I share with students.
