How to integrate digital technologies and computational thinking into curriculum areas. Gain an understanding of the fundamentals of programming using age appropriate programming languages.
How to integrate learning experiences through digital technologies. How to use games, coding and thinking strategies to support learning.
Teachers and leaders from New Entrants to Year 10, this event is for those interested in developing and furthering their knowledge and learning new skills around digital technologies, computational thinking and problem solving to promote learning.
Sally Craw, who is the digital technology teacher at Halswell Primary School and has completed and supported different ventures over the past 3 years focusing on Digital Technologies content.
Joanne Roberts is an experienced primary school teacher. She has taught in mainstream, bilingual and Māori immersion classrooms. She enjoys linking Digital Technologies concepts to te ao Māori and making this accessible to everyone.
