Foliage top leftKia ora, nau mai, haere mai and welcome to Ngā Kiriahi, our community space for Kia Takatū ā-Matihiko, the national Digital Readiness programme. We’re excited to have you join us and certain your experience and expertise will become a valued part of the community voice shared here. To find out more about Ngā Kiriahi, see About us.

This is your community, a safe, open place to share your wonderings, ideas and expertise. No question is too small, no answer too long. This community is designed to support your learning as you gain knowledge, confidence and skills to implement the new Digital Technologies and Hangarau Matihiko curricula. You will see direct links from the Pīkau (toolkits) content to correlating discussions (Ngā Kiriahi groups) that will encourage you to delve deeper into the content and engage with each other.

One way to help grow this community is to share one or two professional details on your profile. Once you sign onto the programme, please feel free to update your profile and avatar so others can connect with you online.

To manage all Ngā Kiriahi community notifications via email, select notifications in your account settings. You can also personalise your Papatohu or Dashboard by choosing widgets to follow activity in groups and discussions in Ngā Kiriahi.

We hope whatever connections you make in Kia Takatū ā-Matihiko, you can continue to grow these relationships online. Please feel free to search Huānga (members) and find and make friends. This enables you to stay in touch with other members' contributions.

You will be able to immediately contribute to Ngā Matapakinga (group discussions), directly linked from the Pīkau modules. You are also invited to join the featured groups to engage with others near you either face-to-face or online. If you would like to start and maintain a group of your own, please feel free contact your community facilitators, Ānaru White and Tessa Gray.

For more help, feel free to join the Hei āwhina: Help group and familiarise yourself with the Community guidelines and site Terms and Conditions. For more technical support on how to navigate and use this community, see Ngā Kiriahi: Help group or email patai@kiatakatu.ac.nz.

Looking forward to connecting with you online.
